Upon my Yuma High school graduation, I enthusiastically, attended Beebe's Cosmetology Academy, as I studied the enhancement of our Integumentary System, which nourishes and treats the appendages of our hair, skin, and finger/toe nails. While practicing therapeutic facials, scalp massage and paraffin wax manicure / pedicure treatments, my interest of massage therapy grew broader. Shortly after that beneficial experience, I became Brian’s best friend and wife, then shortly after, I became the mother of our two beautiful children, Divine and Jiahrus, as well as a family care-giver, and my professional path shifted from the health and beauty field, to a legal profession, as I held a productive ten year position with the State of Arizona as a legal secretary. After leaving the legal field, I returned to, and fell in love with the subject of health and wellness, where I truly flourished.
The Arizona Western College, Massage Therapy Program was a great experience. I grew interested in helping one on a deeper level: emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. My experience was an amazing, life changing, beginning of my own healing journey. I became aware of life and so much more in such clearer light and broader, positive perspective, as my vibration began to rise.
I chose to enroll in the massage therapy program to learn how to naturally treat our daughters headache symptoms, which she experienced since she was a very young age. The western pharmaceuticals did not treat, but only mask the symptoms. Helping our daughter achieve pain relief, was the true reason for the beginning of my helping the community.
I love my journey of learning and studying the human body systems, health, and longevity for a healthier lifestyle, and I truly enjoy sharing ancient wisdom to incorporate the essential need of SELF CARE.
In August, 2011, upon graduating the massage program, I began my professional wellness path at Fusion Acupuncture and Massage with Lecia Novack, Licensed Acupuncturist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and one of the most knowledgeable health professionals of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the human body.
I had the pleasure in learning and attending six levels of Biodynamic Craniosacral Work and earning my certification of fluid healing taught by talented, Heidi L. Wilson, Biodynamic Craniosacaral Worker / Instructor, Tai Chi Instructor, and musician of Tucson, Arizona. I continue to deepen my knowledge and learning from, as well as spending more time with Heidi. I feel that Heidi's classes are not only workshops, but healing retreats in my perspective. These workshops positively encourage one growth, healing and wisdom; mentally, physically, and spiritually.
My passion for the healing arts continue. Aromatherapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral, Chakra Clearing / Balance, Massage Therapy with Therapeutic Dry Cupping, and Meditation keep me most fascinated at this time. I am excited to continue integrated therapies and healing workshops.
Healing from the heart is my intention.... as to help the body feel relief of pain, stress, trauma, and more. By combining modern science with ancient wisdom healing, anyone can develop their own plan of enhanced quality of life. I am blessed to have inherited beliefs from my beloved intuitive, grandparents who shared beautiful spiritualism and natural wisdom of healing through herbs, intuition, and massage.
My personal interests consists of spending quality time learning and exploring with my loving family and our rescue canines and birds. Gardening keeps me occupied, as I enjoy growing flowers, plants, and vegetables in our garden. While exploring the outdoors, I truly love nature walks, hikes and spending time near the ocean, lake, or river. Traveling is always pleasurable when taking time to notice the inspiring and peaceful sights, which seem highly therapeutic/rejuvenating in my perception. My interests in books pertain to health, herbs, spirituality, anatomy, and astrology. I wish I meditated more, the stillness is always rejuvenating for the body.
I began learning of natural healing as an adolescent, as I was treated of body pain or symptoms with herbal teas, massage, energy cleansing/clearing, and aromatherapy. I began my professional practice by focusing on natural healing remedies, which came naturally, as I continue to learn more of my past ancestors remedial of health care and more.
This may be why, I enthusiastically studied and practiced Asian / Native Eastern modalities, Aromatherapy, and overall Health and Wellness, and initially began doing business as "Natural Mystic Elements" located at the heart of the Yuma area, with Fusion Acupuncture and Massage, 2011- 2013, while practicing massage therapy, biodynamic craniosacral, reflexology, therapeutic dry cupping, and understanding the health benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine practiced by Lecia Novack, LAc., LMT.
Some may remember following my practice as I relocated and, solely operated and practiced as Natural Mystic Healing, located at 32nd Street / Arizona Avenue, 2014 - 2017, as I had the pleasure to meet and serve the Yuma, Foothills, Wellton, Somerton, Gadsden, San Luis, AZ as well as the Imperial Valley, CA.
As of 2014, I began the study and practice of Eastern modalities of yoga, meditation and chakra balance, through the spiritual and yogi teachings of The Upanishads, late Vedic Sanskrit texts of Hindu philosophy. Upanishad is a Sanskrit word that translates in English “sitting at the feet of” or “sitting down near." This illustrates the position of receiving wisdom and guidance humbly from a teacher or guru. Teachings of personal, spiritual, experiences in India by our wise, beloved, Peter Victor, who has traveled from New York to Yuma for decades to hold spiritual teachings.
During 2020 - 2021, I had the honor of practicing at Positive Pathways Massage Center with one of Yuma’s most experienced and dedicated, massage therapists, Sylvia Rambo and daughter Toni. I experienced my first amazing massage with Toni, upon my becoming a new mommy! I was experiencing lumbar back tension, and my alternative relief to muscle strain, body pain or tension was (and still is) massage therapy. I am deeply honored that I can also help one experience relief of tension, pain, stress, or trauma.
I truly look forward to your call.
